Comments for Words for my thoughts http://alokrustagi.wordpress.com Sat, 19 Jul 2008 06:08:39 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=MU Comment on The Side Effects of an MBA by Meenu singh http://alokrustagi.wordpress.com/2008/01/08/the-side-effects-of-an-mba/#comment-588 Meenu singh Fri, 04 Jul 2008 07:38:12 +0000 http://alokrustagi.wordpress.com/2008/01/08/the-side-effects-of-an-mba/#comment-588 hey even i differ wid u in dis regard.............mine was also a residential course and dat too a gal's university wid some 9k gals around...........and wen i entered there i also had some preconcieved notion that i cant live in such place, and it wont help me in any way.......two gals living together,can never work out.............but believe me, the 2 yrs spent there were simply amazing.............i have learnt sooooo much from there.....u knw banasthali is a place where even if u have a small headache, u ll find 10 ppl standing besides u to help u wid nything, nytime......u ll learn to respect ppl, there success........u become more helping and caring.....u learn to share.......there i have seen the true colors fo life......hw we use to celebrate each n every festival.......probably after school first time i sang patriotic songs on republic day, independence day........that gr8 feel of holding flag, and marching..........group presentations and projects were such a fun to do........ wen i use to prepare for them, i had whole bunch of frends sitting there and listening to me and suggesting now n then........... i still rem how we use to party wen any of our batchmate use to get placed..............irrespective of the fact whether we talked or not, we still use to leave all our work and go to that person, hug her and say congrats........there was competition among ppl but only healthy one.............of course, u do find ppl who just cant bear the fact that u r performing better than them.....but yes, the ratio was just 10-15 ppl out of a batch of 120 ppl but yes, life has changed completely after being in corporate world......probably that child in me is dying slowly.....life has become much frustrating and stressful now And the only reason i c for u feeling this way is coz IIM is a very big brand and the expectations that r associated wid this name becomes sooo high that ppl forget that they are human!!!!! Hope the changes dont affect u much all the best hey
